To Celeberate TheDelhi Launch, MTS to Provide unhindered Access to Superhighways
Free passage for all vehicles on Friday, 9th October 2009, between 9:00-11:00am and 5.00-8.00pm on Noida and Gurgaon Expressways
In a first of its kind, people of the National Capital Region will have free and speedy access during peak hours of traffic on Friday October 9th at the toll gates of Noida and Gurgaon marking the launch in the capital of the path breaking data and voice service from the new telecom operator -MTS.
MTS, the mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd., will provide free and unhindered access to all vehicles on the Delhi-Noida DND Flyway and Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway (Km24 on Delhi-Gurgaon border) on Friday morning, to mark the launch of its mobile services and super-fast data services in Delhi & NCR.
Delhi-Noida DND Flyway and Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway will not charge vehicles any money between 9:00- 11:00am and 5:00-8.00p.m on October 9. This will be applicable both ways, that is, for vehicles moving into and out of Delhi.
Making this announcement, Mr. Vsevolod Rozanov, President and CEO, Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd., said, “It is for the first time that the DND flyover and the Gurgaon Toll Plaza will be opened to general public for free and unhindered access. All the 42 lanes on the DND Flyway, and all the 32 lanes on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway on the km24 Delhi-Gurgaon border will provide fast, unhindered access to commuters of Delhi NCR on Friday morning.
