Nitta Gelatin declares Q2 results
Net Income up 9.96%, Net Profit up 128.45%
Nitta Gelatin India Ltd., a leading global manufacturer of Gelatin and related products today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended 30th September, 2009. Nitta Gelatin India Ltd. recorded a net profit after tax of Rs. 8.27 crore and net income of Rs. 50.11 crore in the second quarter.
Performance Highlights:
• Net Income grew 9.96% to Rs. 50.11 crore over the corresponding quarter of the previous year
• Net Profit grew 128.45% to Rs. 8.4 crore over the corresponding quarter in the previous year
• Earnings Per Share more than doubled to 9.84 as against Rs.4.31 during the corresponding quarter in the previous year
