Honeywell Automation Wins CII National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2009
Honeywell’s Industrial Load Management Solution recognized as the Innovative Energy Saving Product of the Year
Honeywell Automation India Limited has been conferred the National Award for Excellence in Energy Management, 2009 by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). The award recognizes Honeywell’s Industrial Load Management Solution (ILMS) as the ‘Innovative Energy Saving Product of the Year.’ This award was announced at the 10th National Award for Excellence in Energy Management, 2009 held in Chennai on 19 and 20 November, 2009.
This award aims to support, applaud and encourage significant contributions by organizations towards industrial energy efficiency. This year, 38 companies who achieved annual recurring savings of Rs. 1,510 crores in the last three years, were short-listed for awards under various categories. The ‘Innovative Energy Saving Product of the Year’ Award is based on product innovation, its energy saving potential, economic viability and customer testimonials.

At the 10th National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2009, Honeywell showcased its Industrial Load Management Solution based on the GE platform, which has been implemented at TATA Steel Limited, Jamshedpur. Tata Steel selected Honeywell as a solution integrator to execute its Industrial Energy Management System for the renovation and modernization of its existing Load DC and improve grid stability. This solution makes judicious use of energy, improves cost-effectiveness, increases production and system stability and enhances awareness of energy generation and use.
